The Beta Delta Chapter of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity was founded at the University of Alabama in November of 1885. In its early years on campus, Alpha Tau Omega built a reputation of excellence in academics, athletics, and campus involvement. This reputation was established due to the excellent efforts put forth by our founding members and still holds true today. Beta Delta alumni include judges, lawmakers, and businessmen across the state and country. Several ATΩ alum have greatly impacted southern culture; one specifically, William G. Little, introduced football to the University of Alabama. We are active in many campus groups, activities, and organizations, with brothers holding prestigious positions in Capstone Men and Women, Blackburn Institute, Student Government Association, and all major honor societies. In recent years our chapter has been recognized as the Most Outstanding Fraternity on campus at the University of Alabama and as Top Chapter among ATΩ chapters nationally.
